As the Director of Sustainable Tourism, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive tourism plans that align with international sustainability standards. Your daily tasks will involve coordinating with local stakeholders, government bodies, and international organizations to create and maintain sustainable tourism infrastructure. You'll also work closely with tourism operators, community leaders, and environmental experts to ensure that tourism activities are environmentally responsible and culturally sensitive.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement sustainable tourism policies and strategies for Bangka Belitung.
• Coordinate with local and international stakeholders to promote eco-conscious travel initiatives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of sustainable tourism infrastructure, including eco-lodges and community-based tourism projects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the sustainable tourism sector.
• Monitor and report on the environmental and social impacts of tourism activities.
• Collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable tourism standards.
• Represent the agency at national and international conferences and events related to sustainable tourism.
• Lead and mentor a team of tourism and sustainability professionals.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Sustainable Tourism, Environmental Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainable tourism, environmental management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading sustainable tourism initiatives and projects.
• Strong understanding of international sustainability standards and certifications, such as ISO 14001 or Green Key.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or environmental management (e.g., LEED AP) a plus.
